We work with you to develop a solution that meets your needs. We determine what tools and methodologies are needed for your company and how these should be deployed.
Our simple five-phase Continuous Improvement process enables us to transfer knowledge to your company so that you can become self-sufficient. You nominate a point of contact to liaise with Alora in the formulation and implementation of your initiative.
The five phases are:
During the Evaluate phase, we conduct a free on-site evaluation of the client’s current situation. Following initial discussion with you, we check your processes, systems and programs in order to identify improvement opportunities. We can then assess what Continuous Improvement components will be needed to address your problems.
During the Diagnose phase, we determine the level of the improvement opportunity. This forms the basis of an initial proposal, which outlines the improvement opportunities and the goals, scope and benefits of a Continuous Improvement project. It will also include likely project timelines and necessary resources. Once you agree to the proposal, it becomes a version-controlled document. (In other words, it cannot be modified unless you and Alora agree to the changes.) Alora does not progress to the Plan phase until you authorise us to do so.
During the Plan phase, Alora Consultants work with you to develop a Project Plan and a Change Management Plan. This phase also involves setting up project teams, formulating project charters and completing any other necessary planning.
During the Implement phase, we launch the Continuous Improvement projects. We identify which Lean Thinking, Lean Six Sigma and Change Management tools to use. We also put in place any necessary Kaizen events, JDI initiatives or DMAIC projects required. This phase will also see the implementation of the Change Management Plan.
During the Control and Review phase, the Continuous Improvement projects are reviewed to assess their effectiveness. This is the close out phase of the initiative. This phase cannot be closed until you agree with Alora Consultants that the project objectives have been met.
Throughout this five-phase process, Alora Consultants work closely with client senior management to monitor progress and ensure that project objectives align with business needs.
